One of the most exciting and proud facts that I like to share is that I come from a large family of chiropractors…. 40 and counting!
The list ranges from myself, my husband, all of our 4 children, and two of their spouses, to all my brothers, a couple brother-in-laws, an aunt, some cousins, many nieces and nephews…. ( and even our 8 grandchildren like to play chiropractor… so who knows?!) Why have so many chosen to be a chiropractor, you ask? Results! We have all seen first hand the benefits of chiropractic care, and have a passion to bring it to the world! (Starting with our community, of course!)
I come from Winnipeg, Manitoba and have been involved in chiropractic since the early 70’s, although not as a chiropractor at first. I have been a chiropractic assistant; managed many chiropractic offices; been a member of, as well as presided over various chiropractic organizations, locally, nationally and internationally. I have always been a spokeswoman for chiropractic and have made presentations to many groups in various communities. Once all our children were on their way with their careers, I decided it was my turn, and therefore returned to university to get both a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree! I completed both degrees at Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2005 as “ Summa Cum Laude”, as salutatorian, and as member of the Chiropractic Honor Society, Pi Tau Delta! This goes to show you that it is never too late to follow your dream!
My husband and I felt a calling to practice Chiropractic in beautiful Kelowna, so here we are! I am excited to say that our office in Mission Park is our dream come true! To both be serving our community together as chiropractors, offering families chiropractic care so that their health can be expressed optimally! We take care of all ages, from the precious newborns to the beautiful seniors of our community! All have the inborn ability to express health… and we can help you achieve that!
Although I am no longer seeing patients for chiropractic adjustments, I am still in the office answering any questions, supporting in other ways and helping at the front desk.

I have been involved in Chiropractic for over 40 years, ever since I entered Life Chiropractic College in 1976. I am the fourth chiropractor from our family of close to 40 chiropractors to graduate to date. This includes my lovely wife, Louise, our four children and 2 of their spouses, as well as my brother, several brother-in-laws, cousins, aunts, nieces and nephews. And the list is still growing.
I remember my first introduction to Chiropractic. My (then soon-to-be) brother-in-law, Gil Bohémier was on break from chiropractic college and he explained to me what Chiropractic was. I still remember the picture he drew about how misalignments in the spine can cause pinched nerves and how this can affect different parts of the body and cause malfunction and ill health. From that moment on I knew I wanted to be part of the Chiropractic profession, to be able to help people regain their health in a natural way, without drugs and surgery.
I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and practiced there for over 20 years. That’s where we raised our 4 children. We then relocated in Colorado for 2 years, before being asked to teach at my Alma Mater. While there, in Marietta, Georgia, my wife, Louise decided she wanted to fulfill one of her dreams to become a Chiropractor and she attended Life University. She successfully graduated with honors after 3 of our kids had already graduated from there.
We then relocated to Calgary, Alberta for 2 years before discovering Kelowna. I knew we had to move here as soon as I visited the Okanagan Valley. We love it here. The people are wonderful, the weather is great, the winter is short and mild (compared to Winnipeg), there are no mosquitoes, the hiking trails are beautiful, the fruit trees and the vineyards are fabulous, lots of wonderful golf courses and numerous places to explore. This is paradise.
I am still very passionate about Chiropractic and would love to see everyone under regular Chiropractic care because I know everyone would benefit with greater health potential as a result of having their spinal subluxations (misalignments) corrected and give them a better quality of life so that they may enjoy the things they love to do.
